Types of Motorhomes - There are many different types now to choose from for various needs and price budgets. The difference between a motorhome and a caravan is that with the motorhome you can walk to the driving area from the accommodation section. Where as with a caravan it is attached separately to the towing vehicle and can not drive independently. The basic motorhomes have all the necessities including sleeping area, fitted toilet, cooking area and seating area although some come with extras built in.
Some of these may include TV, sound system microwave etc. although these are not necessities they are added luxuries that make life more comfortable and provide you with on board entertainment. As well as the fittings the main thing to vary is the size with some being able to sleep 2 people and others at the high end of the market being able to sleep up to about 10 if not more.
- Accessories - Just as there are different types of motorhomes there are also different types of accessories you can buy for them. Most of the accessories are luxury items for entertainment but you can also get things such as add on's to create more space for an extra room. These simply clip on to the side of the vehicle when stationary and can be use for any purpose from storage to an extra bedroom. As well as these extras there are certain pieces that provide safety and can play a vital role such as a gas detector, with it being such an enclosed space if there were to be a gas leak it could be very dangerous for your families health.
If you have certain needs that need to be met then there will be a motorhome suitable for you, for example if you were carrying a disabled person then there would be a motorhome with all the required safety equipment to transport them safely. If you are un-sure of the type you require simply speak to a motorhome dealer and they will be able to advise you on the best kind for you.
